Of the 139  sites presented here 96 links have specific Métis references, and the other Aboriginal links are chosen for their usefulness to people who are exploring other Aboriginal heritage. Genealogy of Quebec's Native People and Francophone Métis One-pager maintains there were few Indian-French marriages in the early French colonies because the record (i.e Jette) shows few while at the same time prooposing Acadians had more mixed marriages because records are missing. I don't get it.
